Inspiration: airplane. Here are a couple illustrations I worked on last night and this morning ...

Tamaishi Kayo is a Japanese artist. She studied art with Setsu Nagasawa, one of the preeminent Japanese Fashion illustrators. Kayo's work includes water painting, book cover design, magazine illustration, T-shirt design and more. Here is one of her illustrations:

Trying to find inspiration for my Halloween costume, I am going as a peacock, I came across this photograph of a fabulous peacock-inspired ballerina costume!!!


I also came cross Elsa Mora's blog looking for bird costume ideas...her paper cuts are amazing, some are pictured below...

Here is a picture I took at home today... a small ceramic bunny on my kitchen window sill ...



Tamar Mogendorff creates these fantastic creatures, from different birds to bunnies, mushrooms and dogs. She uses different fabrics and assorted vintage buttons and ribbons. They are so arty, funny, and crafty. Here is an example of her work.
